Liquid Fence Snake Repellent: Best Snake Repellent on the Market
Product Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars
Liquid Fence Snake Repellent is the best the market has to offer and it does do the trick. The ingredients in the liquid irritates and annoys most common snake’s chemosensory systems. This forces snakesĀ to live elsewhere as they lose the ability to gather information about their surroundings. This doesn’t impair the snake permanently, only while traveling around in your yard where the liquid fence is applied. After they leave your yard, all snakes will continue with life as normal.
It is applied to the yard in much the same way that Round-Up is. Shake the container well and begin to spray around the perimeter of the yard and anywhere else that snakes may hide. Snakes must come in contact with the liquid for it to be effective.
For the more environmentally concerned, this repellent is safe to use both for the snakes and the wildlife that surrounds your home. This product doesn’t harm snakes in anyway, so there should be no fear for the animal’s safety. Also, there is no naphthalene present either so both humans and pets should be safe while using it.
It only gets a 4.5 out of 5 because it has to be reapplied from time to time, rain can wash it away. That is to be expected to a point but it can be a hassle. It’s a solid product otherwise though. Liquid Fence Snake Repellent can be purchased online for about $28.

Dr. T Snake-a-Way Granules Review
Product Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
Dr. T Snake-a-Way is an effective product but slightly flawed product. First, how it works. The ingredients in the granules through off snakes ability to sense where it’s surroundings. This is vital because any snake wouldn’t want to live in an area where there senses are handicapped. They then slither away looking for a new place to hunt or live.
It’s easy to apply the stuff too. Just spread the granules around the perimeter of your property and anywhere else that snakes may like to play in your yard. All they need to do is come in contact with the repellent to feel the affects and they’re convinced to go else where. Be generous with the chemicals to ensure that all passages are covered.
This is probably the most effective snake repellent on the market but it comes with a bit of a warning. Seven percent of it is made up naphthalene, a chemical that can be harmful to humans. It is EPA approved still so it is safe to use just be sure to wear gloves when applying.
While you may have to be careful with it, this is very useful repellent. At about $20, it’s also affordable if you want to get Dr. T Snake-a-Way online. Here’s to having fewer snakes near home.

Bell and Howell Animal Repeller: Get Rid of Snakes with Solar Power
What’s better than getting the snakes out of your yard? Getting many if not all pests out of your yard. The Bell and Howell Animal Repeller does just that. If you have trouble with animals roaming your lawn and garden then this would be a great product to try out.
This repeller emits an ultrasonic sound every half a minute or so to drive away pests in its vicinity. The sound cannot be heard by humans and animals cannot stand it. It has a range of thirty feet, so two may be needed for larger yards. You may be thinking, “but snakes don’t have ears like humans and other animals!” and you would be correct. However, snakes “hear” the vibration of sounds on their skin, allowing an ultrasonic repeller to still be effective.
Maintenance is limited for this device. It uses rechargeable solar batteries so there is no need to run cords outside or any other inconvenience like that. Being that it is meant to be outside, the repeller is waterproof. No need to bring it in or cover it up when the weather turns for the worst.
You can buy the Bell and Howell Animal Repeller online for around $30. While it’s a little more expensive then other snake repellents, there’s also less maintenance and need to respread granules. In addition, it also will keep other animals out of the yard and away from the house.
